- My name is Kari Thorstensen Shah (MBACP). I was born in Norway and have been living in Surrey since 1970.
- I have had a private counselling and psychotherapy practice in Purley, Surrey since 2001.
- I am registered with BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy)
- I worked as a counsellor in the voluntary sector from 1996, first as a Youth Counsellor with Off the Record for five years and from 2001 with Relate as a couple counsellor for seven years.
- I am a graduate of the Spectrum training programme, a centre for humanistic psychotherapy.
- My background is in education as an adult education teacher and manager.
